The Church Leader hereby announce the following matters:

1. Divine services are held normally, that is, with the attendance of Brothers and Sisters in the church, as well as by streaming. Divine services in congregations can be held normally if the local conditions allow and it depends on the direction and policy of the local national government. If divine services in a congregation have not been able to be held normally, they will still be held via streaming. Health protocols, social and physical distancing must be kept in mind. If the government limits the number of participants in divine services, we must adjust to it.

God hears our prayers and sometimes He also answers them—as long as they reflect His will. God always has an ear for those who believe and there is no situation where God could not help. Continue reading

Do you believe this?” This question was raised again by the Spirit to all of us at the divine service via streaming Sunday, April 19, 2020, led by Apostle Samuel H. Tansahtikno. This sentence comes from the conversation of the Lord Jesus to Martha before the raising of Lazarus. The Lord make it clear to Martha, that the resurrection to eternal life is contingent on faith in Him.

Jesus said to her, “I am the res- urrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” These words from John 11: 25-26 form the basis of the divine service. Continue reading

As the material of midweek devotional for this week we are invited to see Thomas who stands as an example for all people who have not seen the Risen One: doubt seems justified, since the resurrection contradicts any human experience and could therefore be said to be impossible. Continue reading

The Church would like to offer spiritual support and encouragement during the time in which there are limited possibilities for divine services and also while the dispensation of the sacraments is not possible. This can be done in the form of a devotional, whether that be alone, with the family, or during pastoral care by telephone or telephone/video conferences. Continue reading

Hundreds of thousands of New Apostolic Christians experienced this year’s Easter service at home – transmitted via the Internet. This is because the fight against the corona virus does not allow for any gatherings at this time. It is the desire of the Chief Apostle himself to be able to celebrate Easter together globally. An important event in church history has taken place today. Continue reading

Large congregations join to attend the Good Friday service, April 10, 2020 with District Apostle Edy Isnugroho. More than 4,500 points of reception throughout Southeast Asia and even overseas took part in this service through YouTube and Facebook live.

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
Matthew 20: 28

Message:
Jesus Christ came to serve mankind.

Our Bible text comprises the conclusion of a passage in which the mother of two of Jesus’ disciples asks Him to give them a prominent position in the kingdom of God. Jesus denies this request and explains that it is up to God alone to assign such special honours. Here He speaks of His mission, which is not comprised of receiving or bestowing honours, but rather of helping mankind. The arrival of the Son of Man was expected by many Jews. However, His coming was always associated with notions of outward rulership and other displays of power. Continue reading

We have experienced a divine service without walls and borders last Sunday. Hundreds of thousands of New Apostolic families joined the divine service via streaming. Restricted access, bans on assemblies, lockdowns: in the past two weeks, activity in our church buildings in one country after another has ground to a halt on account of the corona crisis. But congregational life is far from dead. In times of distress the word of God comes into our homes via the Internet. Continue reading
